3 New Beers!

YARDS CAPE OF GOOD HOPE – Every year, Yards releases a beer under the name Cape Of Good Hope. Despite the shared moniker, the brew can be quite different from year to year. This years version is a strong West Coast style double IPA intended to pay homage to the original British IPAs brewed to survive the long sea journey around Africa to the colony of India. (hence the name, INDIA Pale Ale) Taste wise, Cape is a smooth, floral, hoppy brew that packs a 9.3% ABV kick, so tread lightly.

SAMUEL ADAMS FAT JACK – Fat Jack is a strong, dark, creamy pumpkin beer made with a whopping 28 pounds of fresh pumpkin per barrel! All that pumpkin-y goodness shines through, giving Fat Jack one of the strongest pumpkin flavors available in a beer. Add a little nutmeg, cinnamon, and a pinch of “secret spice” and you’re ready to roll.

BOLD ROCK HARD CIDER – The Virginia based Bold Rock cidery is a new name in the rapidly expanding cider market and they’ve quickly established a great reputation. We stock their 2 best selling flavors: the sweet, tart green apple based Virginia Apple and the dryer, less sweet red apple based Virginia Draft.
